BackOffice
BackOffice has been developed fill a void between Reckon Point of Sale and QuickBooks. It is also the site component of the MultiSite solution.

Till Management

- BackOffice will track the dollars from the minute a customer buys an item at your store to the time the funds clear your bank account.
- Integrated EFT solution to all the main banks in Australia and New Zealand
- All Operator Totals are entered blindly to ensure the real figures are put into the system
- Daily banking is easily performed and tracked including how much cash was left in the safe from the last time you performed the banking
- Daily banking journals are automatically posted to the general ledger. Our daily banking module also allows you the flexibility to account for ATM top ups and paying staff using cash from the safe.
- Merchant settlement (Credit Card, EFTPOS, AMEX, Diners, etc) are very simple and easy to perform. Our solution enables you to have the tightest control on manual vouchers available.
- The system will automatically track merchant settlements posting journals to the general ledger allowing for the merchant service fee and GST.
Stock Management
All systems claim to have a stock management system but with BackOffice we offer more than just what is standard";
- Products can also be added into the system from within Purchase ordering or Stock receipting modules.
- New Products. The system remembers standard settings such as General Ledger accounts, GST codes and supplier when adding a new product to the system.
- Margin check . When you purchasing stock the system checks the desired margin for that product category and prompts you to update your sell price. Avoiding margin creep which is an enormous problem with most retail businesses.
- Over-stock check. All products when purchased will be checked to ensure staff do not buy more stock than they are allowed to. Ideal for multi-site environments
- Outer code purchasing. The system automatically allows you to purchase items using the outer codes whether it is a case (24 units), dozen, six pack or an individual bottle. You can set a buy price for whatever way your supplier allows you to purchase their stock.
- Related Products function allow operators to use same product for varios items ie daily newspaper has a different barcode per edition yet a site just wants to know it is The Age
- Accounting. All purchases are automatically processed to QuickBooks enabling you to get an immediate P&L, Balance Sheet or Cash Flow report. This information also automatically flows to QuickBAS for the easy creation of you BAS.
- Automatic Reorder report taking into account sales from any time you require such as special event orders like a bi-annual event like an air show or Easter the previous year.
